"Lucrezia" is the embodiment of elegance and Italian craftsmanship, combining the opulence of the past with modern sophistication. The velvet with which these shoes are made, was invented in the fourteenth century in Italy. This fabric, inspired by the animal fleece, has a luxuriant softness without equal. During the Renaissance, the chiselled velvet, also known as "soprariccio" or "Genoa velvet", became one of the most beloved fabrics by the European courts thanks to its elaborate embosed designs and its brightness.
Like all our shoes, these can be enriched with accessories such as broaches made with crystal grain stones. The catalog is available in the section Accessories.
The CenCeTak are handmade shoes also called scarpets or friulane made in Friuli, following a tradition that lasts for more than 200 years. They are worked as before without glues, assembled exclusively through seams and finished by hand.
They are durable because reinforced with cotton doublings and a high density stitching on the sole and edges. The inner lining of CenCeTak is always 100% silk, or for some more casual pairs, the lining is in cotton.
Each pair of friulane is unique, as a handmade product.
Small imperfections confirm the manual production.
